You can stop looking because this is the best Mexican food in Fayetteville. Great salsa served when you sit. Try the queso too! More importantly they make their Strawberry Margaritas with REAL strawberries. BEST Margarita I've had in my life and trust me, I've tried many. Service is always impeccable which is difficult to find in Fayetteville. Always fun happy hours or specials going on like the watermelon margarita this summer!
Been here multiple times and it never fails to provide a great atmosphere, service, drinks, and food. -

Whoever said this place is "the best Mexican in Fayetteville" is either lying to themselves because they're somehow affiliated with the business or has never actually been south of the border or to any of the southwestern states for that matter. Go to El Cazador on Skibo where the food is as genuine as the people who work there.
That being said, the service was very courteous and helpful. It was the best part of our dining experience.
Now, the food. Oh my, the food. It was atrocious and egregiously overpriced for what was served. Most everything seemed to be microwaved from frozen or something of the sort. In my group of 4, the fish tacos seemed composed of a sliced frozen fish filet from the grocery store. The nachos were hastily thrown together with stale chips, unmelted packaged cheese, day old refried beans, and pickled jalapeños w/carrots from the can of La Costeña. The "ultimate fajitas" were insanely scarce, with the chicken breast being the most decent menu item having a good bit of flavor albeit still resembling prepackaged reheat from frozen.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. None in our group will ever return. -

So, the service was phenomenal which is pretty across the board I noticed in reviews.
We sat outside on a Saturday night and the patio was wonderful. It was cool, fun, and bright. Definitely recommend it!
The chips were good, salsa a bit spicy but also very good. We did table side guacamole and it was SO SO amazing.
Our dinners took a bit to come out, but they were hot and fresh. It was a bit salty, but you're hard pressed to find decent food with amazing service in this town. It's not the best Mexican food but we will be back for the atmosphere! -

Awesome people (5*), terrible food (1*). I survived living in Fayetteville for 10 years. This week I came to visit family. We went here. One prominent feature with regard to
Fayetteville's food choices is that most food options are horrible. But this place ranks fairly low, even in that spectrum.
On the Boarder's winning trait is the people who work here-- always friendly and genuine (not contrived). Even when I lived here. They are kind, attentive, and have real personalities.
I tried (beef) Fajita Nachos with Pico de Gallo, Guacamole, and Sour Cream. Sounded awesome! What came out was (literally) ten tortilla chips with old, soggy beans, hard/dry/caramelized cheese, chewy/fatty/hard bits of "steak" and a teaspoon of guacamole, the tiniest nub of pico, and a half teaspoon of sour cream.
The food was devoid of any spice or flavor except salt. It tasted old and heated up, and the tiny portions of guac, pico, and cream was absurd (see picture... I'm not being hyperbolic).
I ate a couple chips and could not even put a small dent in the meal. With draft beer limited only to Dos XX (an awful beer), it is unlikely I'll return when visiting in the future. Except for the people, this place is not good at all.
I would suggest a smaller menu with a stronger focus on taste and honest ingredients. It was just seemingly old, salty, and gross. Awesome people working here though! -

The food here can be summed up simply as HOT Garbage!! First and last time I'll ever set foot in this establishment. The only thing enjoyable were the chips!
